Below are some of the recent projects that we have undertaken
Queens Hill Primary School
We built the school from scratch some 10 years ago, and also completed a second phase of work which included a quite substantial extension. The work consisted of 16,000 ton muck shift, soil stabilisation, traditional strip foundations and concrete floor slab. Foul and storm drainage with some diverts of existing drainage runs. A large storm water holding tank made with plastic storm cell crates some 1,000 of them and a large external block paved car parks and playing field.
Concreting and power floating
This shows a traditional steel framed building project where we prepared the ground, laid the concrete and used our ride-on power float to finish the concrete floor slab. There was an associated drainage road and car parking constructed for this warehouse project too.
The Hostry at Norwich Cathedral
The Hostry is the new Visitor and Education Centre building at Norwich Cathedral. As you can see it was quite an achievement just to get the excavation equipment on site!
Wymondham Library
An unusual job with a circular foundation. Varying heights in the foundations and considerable amounts of form work with varying finishes.
North Norfolk Housing Trust
A new office block on a developing site in North Walsham, Norfolk. A large earth shift with the infrastructure of new roads and services for the developing site.
Industrial paving
This was a large scale industrial concrete project.
Brick weave driveway
Here’s an example of a finished brick weave driveway we completed. The project involved site clearance and preparation before finishing off with a brick weave design.
